Red flag in FP1 of the Hungarian GP

The red flag for EL1 of the Hungarian GP was waved following the exit from the track of Antonio Giovinazzi who was replacing Kevin Magnussen at Haas F1 team. Romain Grosjean, the other driver of the American team, also had contact with a wall of tires after a spin.

The Mercedes are in control with a little less than an hour before the end of the tests. Valtteri Bottas signed the best time on super soft tires with a lap completed in 1’19”451, 2 tenths ahead of his teammate Lewis Hamilton the Ferrari follow at 6 tenths with Kimi Räikkönen preceding his teammate Sebastian Vettel the Red Bull de Max Verstappen et Daniel Ricciardo complete the top six. Stoffel Vandoorne (McLaren) ranks 9th.
