After a period of calm, activity has resumed on the Monza circuit. Sebastian Vettel on his return to the track improved his times, the best in 1'24"862. Lewis Hamilton is now in 2nd place (1'25'284) ahead of the Mexican's Sauber Sergio Perez (1'25"347). Followed by Mark Webber (1'25"545) and Fernando Alonso (1'25"561).
Nico Rosberg was finally able to take to the track. His first timed lap credited him with the 18th performance at 5”540 from Vettel.
