Fernando Alonso has already received a 35-place penalty on the grid for the Italian GP played this weekend in Monza. The pilot McLaren-Honda will be sanctioned after a new Power Unit was installed on its MCL32, a version called “3.7”.
The Asturian will drive with an old engine after the first practice session. The new Power Unit is expected to be reinstalled at the Singapore GP scheduled for September 17.
