This is quite incredible information that has been circulating in the paddock for several weeks and which was highlighted this weekend by Brazilian television TV Globo. The FIA has commissioned a private company to investigate the conduct of the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix. Nelson Piquet Jr crashed into a wall, and the entry of the safety car allowed Fernando Alonso to win the race. The investigation concerns the reasons for the accident of Nelson Piquet Jr, who allegedly drove into the wall voluntarily to allow this scenario. Testimonies, notably from the person concerned, would have revealed the implementation of this scenario by Flavio Briatore to allow the victory of the double world champion.
