In Monaco, even more than anywhere else, the weather can be a determining factor in the race scenario, its course, and, of course, its final result. Last year, the Grand Prix took place under the sun. This year, it should be the same. Indeed, the latest forecast predicts clear skies with temperatures around 20 degrees.
Dry and sunny weather is expected all weekend. So, whether it's for the first practice sessions this Friday or qualifying this Saturday, the drivers shouldn't be bothered by the weather. Temperatures are expected to be around 20 degrees Celsius in both sessions.
Finally, the wind will be light, no more than 10 km/h at any given time. Obviously, for the show, this isn't ideal weather. It remains to be seen whether the new feature this year in Monaco—two mandatory pit stops during the GP—will bring some welcome twists.
