The ban on private testing in Formula 1 will be partially lifted. The official F1 website announces that the FIA will now accept that a day of testing be organized for drivers joining a team during the season. This rule corrects the aberration of the total ban on private testing. This season, Jaime Alguersuari notably joined Toro Rosso without having been able to complete laps of the circuit at the wheel of a Formula 1 car. The young Spaniard had just completed straight-line tests.
