The FIA has asked teams to better position the mirrors on their cars but, instead of being applied for the Chinese Grand Prix, this measure will be made compulsory for the Spanish Grand Prix at the beginning of May. The different teams will thus have more time to modify the position of their mirrors.
Some drivers having complained about the lack of visibility in the mirrors, they can no longer be placed at the front end of the sidepods as aerodynamic elements but must be installed at the edge of the passenger compartment.
