The pilots of Formula 1, since the Bahrain Grand Prix, have been orphaned by their physiotherapists. Due to the increase in the number of teams and therefore people on the Sunday starting grid, Bernie Ecclestone decided to prohibit the drivers? physiotherapists from accessing this grid. The “physios”, as they are commonly called, are constantly at the side of the driver they are caring for, to ensure that they are in the best possible physical condition before getting behind the wheel.
This is why all the drivers showed their opposition to this measure which seemed unfair, as the physios are the people closest to them. But their return to the starting grid has not yet been decided.
