Many rookies will be taking part in Free Practice for the Bahrain Grand Prix. Following Frederik Vesti's announcements for Mercedes and Dino Beganovic for Ferrari, it's the turn of Felipe Drugovich, reserve driver of the team Aston Martin, to notify his participation in the opening session of the Bahrain GP.

The champion of Formula 2 in 2022 will be in the cockpit of the AMR25 of Fernando Alonso on a circuit he knows well. Indeed, the reserve driver has already had the opportunity to drive in Bahrain in F1 since he had replaced Lance stroll, injured, during the 2023 pre-season tests. Moreover, the young 24-year-old driver is a regular at the exercise since on the Sakhir circuit, this will be his sixth participation in a Free Practice session with Aston Martin. In total, the Brazilian has accumulated 9km at the wheel of a Formula 100.
