Ferrari's claim against Verstappen and Pérez dismissed

Ferrari was dismissed his complaint made on Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez. As a reminder, the Scuderia had judged that the Dutchman, 3rd, and the Mexican, winner of the Monaco Grand Prix, had both crossed the pit exit line on the 22nd lap. The two drivers were also summoned to the race marshals at 19:05 p.m. Around 21:30 p.m., the decision fell and it was not going to please the Scuderia: Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez were cleared, and Ferrari was dismissed. The results of the Monaco Grand Prix are therefore final.

In their argument, the track marshals concluded that the two drivers Red Bull had not “crossed” the line in its entirety, but only bitten with part of their left front wheel. The situation, and the sanction, was also similar for Lance stroll during the 2021 edition of the Monaco Grand Prix. For Ferrari, this edition of the Monaco GP will remain a huge disappointment with the 2nd and 4th places of Carlos Sainz et Charles Leclerc, while the Scuderia had locked the first row, with the Monegasque on pole at home.
