Emerson Fittipaldi believes that the pilot McLaren must contain his aggression on the track. “Lewis is exceptionally talented. He is not world champion by chance. But he is sometimes too aggressive in his overtaking, as we saw in Monaco,” the double world champion from 1972 and 1974 said today on the Totalrace website. “There are limits to aggression. You have to respect others while being competitive. »

Unlike the Brazilian, Michael Schumacher took up the defense ofHamilton: “As everyone knows, it is very difficult to overtake in Monaco. And if a competitor stops you, collision is almost inevitable. One thing is certain; I would not have penalized Lewis for overtaking Felipe Massa. »
