Formula 1. Guanyu Zhou chooses number 24 at Alfa Romeo

The FIA ​​revealed the final list of participants for the 2022 Formula 1 season. Apart from what we already knew, the arrivals ofAlexander albon in Williams, by George Russell at Mercedes, Valtteri Bottas in Alfa Romeo, the departure of Honda as “official” engine manufacturer of Red Bull and AlphaTauri, replaced by the new structure Red Bull Powertrains, the FIA ​​indicates that Guanyu-Zhou will adorn the number 24 at Alfa Romeo. The Chinese is the first to choose this number since permanent numbers were introduced in F1, in 2014. Before him, Timo Glock (Marussia) was the last to adorn the 24, in 2012.

The final list also indicates the departure of Mission Winnow, the title sponsor of Ferrari. Finally, Alfa Romeo Racing Team ORLEN becomes Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN.
