France – Q2: It doesn’t work for Ocon

There will be no French in Q3! After Pierre Gasly in Q1, it is Esteban Ocon who was eliminated in Q2. The pilot Alpine had however greatly improved his mark but the numerous improvements behind him caused him to fall to 12th place missing the passage to Q3 by 2 tenths. Besides the Norman, Daniel Ricciardo, Valtteri Bottas, Sebastian Vettel and Alex Albon took the door in this Q2.
If Esteban Ocon has not validated his ticket for Q3 at Alpine, Fernando Alonso He did it well. Under threat of elimination, the Spaniard managed to move up the rankings with the 6th time just behind Lewis Hamilton. THE Ferrari did they dominate Q2 with the best time for Carlos Sainz before Charles Leclerc.
