The French team announced this morning the immediate departure of its Team Principal Frédéric Vasseur. The former manager of ART Grand Prix was recruited for the return of the French brand in F1 as a full-fledged builder last year.
With Jolyon Palmer and Kevin Magnussen in 2016, Renault scored eight points and finished in ninth place in the Constructors' Championship. Vasseur was preparing to find the German Nico Hulkenberg this year, transferred from Force India. More information to follow.
