Timo Glock, victim of a violent off-track accident at Suzuka during qualifying, will not take part in the Japanese Grand Prix. It was recommended that he abandon this race in order to be in good shape for the Brazilian Grand Prix in two weeks. Kamui Kobayashi, who did not drive this Saturday, cannot replace the German according to the FIA sporting code. Jarno Trulli will therefore be the only driver Toyota on track this Sunday.
