Romain Grosjean (Haas) failed in Q1 of the Singapore GP. The Frenchman failed in 18th place behind Lance stroll (Racing Point) by only beating the Williams by George Russell and Robert Kubica. His teammate Kevin Magnussen was the last qualifier with a few thousandths ahead of Daniil Kvyat (Toro Rosso).
The Mercedes were the fastest. Valtteri Bottas improved the benchmark by beating his teammate Lewis Hamilton. THE Ferrari de Charles Leclerc et Sebastian Vettel preceded the Red Bull de Max Verstappen. Pierre Gasly (Toro Rosso) set the 9th time.
