Renault presented its defense this Monday before the FIA Court of Appeal, before obtaining the lifting of the suspension of its single-seaters at the European Grand Prix, this weekend, in Valencia. Leaving the FIA headquarters, Steve Nielsen, manager of the team, said he was "optimistic" about the verdict which will be delivered on Tuesday at the latest. Nielsen believes that the initial sanction is not appropriate for the offense.
