Romain Grosjean was obviously disappointed after his race which didn?t even last a lap. Unaccustomed to starting from the back this season, Jenson Button touched the Franco-Swiss, who admitted to RMC that the Briton was at the origin of the pileup which triggered the exit of the safety car, even if the commissioners did not recognize any responsibility in this accident.
« As I expected, there was a bit of a hectic start. I started pretty well, I should have been thirteenth. Unfortunately, Button, who was fighting with another car, didn't see me when he took his turn. We discussed it. He did not apologize clearly but he admitted that he had not seen me. It?s a shame because with the amount of gasoline I had, I would only have made one stop. I think it could have paid off. Too bad. »
