In a question and answer carried out by UBS on its Facebook page, the three-time world champion Lewis Hamilton was asked about the points which, in his opinion, would deserve to be modified in F1.

In addition to a return to manual gearboxes, the Briton admitted that the possibility of seeing the telemetry data of each accessible driver in a team was not to his taste.

“When I go out on track to do my laps, my work, the other driver can see everything, explains the pilot Mercedes. I don't think that should be the case. I told my team that I didn't want to see my teammate's data. I don't think it's fair that he's at his best, and I can see him on a computer.

For example, when you're driving, you set your braking points, notice bumps, tire marks, and all those things that help you go through a corner faster. The other driver is potentially able to do better or worse. But with data it can copy you. »
