Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) won the 63rd pole of his career, the 6th in a row, by winning qualifying for the Chinese GP with a new lap record in Shanghai set in 1'31''678.

Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) will follow in the first line preceding by one thousandth Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes). Kimi Räikkönen (Ferrari) completes the second row in front Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull), Felipe Massa (Williams), Nico Hulkenberg (Renault), Sergio Pérez (Force India), Daniil Kvyat (Toro Rosso) and Lance stroll (Williams).
