Heidfeld: “Very difficult race”

Very far back on the grid, Nick Heidfeld did not experience the same success as his teammate Vitaly Petrov. The German, 14th, is far from the podium. “Very difficult race,” summarizes Robert Kubica’s replacement. I am obviously very disappointed not to finish in the points. It just wasn't possible, especially after getting hit on the first lap. It's a real shame because I had a very good start, going from 18th to 12th place at the first corner. The damage caused to the car was quite significant, mainly on the right side, bodywork, sidepod and engine cover. So it wasn't a good race for me. But I am happy for the team and for Vitaly with this excellent result. This shows that our car is competitive and that we will seriously fight at the front this year. »
