The reserve pilot of Mercedes GP said the RB6s would arguably be the fastest on the streets of the Principality. “ After seeing the Red Bull faster by a second per lap in Barcelona, we have a good chance of seeing the RB6 at the forefront in Monaco,” commented the former BMW Sauber driver.
The Monaco Grand Prix, however, did not succeed for Red Bull last season with a 5th place for Webber and a retirement of Hag. Both drivers will therefore be looking to obtain a better result this weekend, which seems highly achievable given their current performances.
