Saturday morning, before the free practice of Formula 1, Johnny Herbert won in the Speedcar Series ahead of Heinz-Harald Frentzen and Tonio Liuzzi. The French Jean Alesi and David Terrien gave up.
There is only one race left to go on Sunday morning, and Gianni Morbidelli only has a one point lead over Johnny Herbert.
