The Alfa Romeo of Kimi Räikkönen and Antonio Giovinazzi are under investigation following the German GP. The commissioners noted data on the C38s which could be contrary to the regulations. The investigation is focusing on possible departure assistance which was given on a wet track.
The result of the German GP and the rankings therefore remain provisional. Kimi Räikkönen took 7th place ahead of his teammate Antonio Giovinazzi. Romain Grosjean finished just behind.
