Christian Horner, team manager of Red Bull, believes that not resuming the qualifying session for the Brazilian Grand Prix at this time is more prudent. “ We want to make sure the circuit is safe. At the moment, it?s too dangerous to drive the cars, with the puddles across the track. It also looks like it's getting worse. They will have to make a decision soon. We cannot stay in suspense like this. »

The qualifying session is still blocked in Q2, with 12'24" remaining before Q3. Bernie Ecclestone, interviewed by Brazilian TV, declared that there was no question that the session would end on Sunday morning.

A new restart is scheduled for 16:10 p.m. (21:10 p.m.).
