Isack Hadjar with a Senna tribute helmet in Monaco

At a press conference, Isack Hadjar admitted that the idea of wearing a helmet in tribute to Senna in Brazil had crossed his mind. Ultimately, it was in Monaco that the Parisian decided to highlight the man who remains an idol to younger generations, despite his death 31 years ago.
Unsurprisingly, Isack Hadjar will be tackling his first Monaco Grand Prix wearing a yellow, green, and blue helmet. In addition to the equations on the back of his usual helmet in tribute to his father, the Racing Bulls driver has added Ayrton Senna's impressive statistics on the streets of the Principality.
“I wanted a special helmet, I thought I could do it in Brazil, that it would make sense. But I think here, it makes almost more sense. There is a king of Monte Carlo, and that is Ayrton. When I was a kid, I watched a lot of clips on YouTube, and every time it was him demolishing the competition in Monaco. I told myself that when I arrived in F1 Here in Monaco, I would like to pay tribute to him. On my helmet, you can see his statistics, his pole position times, his victories, in which years, I think it's a good idea."

I find this kind of tribute corny, he has only just arrived in F1 and he is content to do the job.
