If the Polish pilot had already complained about his car during the first free practice session, the second did not give him more satisfaction. Robert Kubica was only able to complete two laps of the track before seeing his BMW Sauber stop in a plume of smoke. It is therefore a dark day for the white cars, since Nick Heidfeld only set the 17th fastest time in this second session.
