Robert Kubica achieved a magnificent result at Spa, reaching the third step of the podium. The Pole could even have aimed for a second place, but he made a small mistake when returning to the pits.
“In the pitlane, I made some adjustments to my steering wheel in order to adapt my setting to the intermediate tires, explains the Renault driver F1 team. I got distracted and missed my braking point. That’s when second place slipped away.”
