In its opening to social networks, Liberty Media has taken a new step for F1 by partnering with the Snapchat application. Fans and those in the paddocks will be able to post their snaps together in a common story from the British Grand Prix. The full deal will take place from the Singapore Grand Prix after which the app will open a story for each race.

With more than 166 million users of the application sharing 3 billion snaps per day, F1 wants to open up to a younger audience which is currently lacking on the circuits.
