Regularly, rumors of the arrival of Audi (or VW) in Formula 1 resurface. And each time, it's the same refrain, the German leaders deny it. The brand with the rings is present in Endurance since 1999 and does not seem ready to abandon this discipline.

Audi Motorsport boss Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich said in the newspaper Donau Kurier, that the general staff of the Ingolstadt firm was delighted with its commitments both in DTM than at Le Mans, and that Formula 1 was not a priority.

“Nevertheless, Audi regularly re-examines the possibility of an arrival in F1” "He said.

But according to him, the brand's slogan: “Vorsprung durch Technik” (Progress through technology), is not compatible with Formula 1 of the last 15 years.

Could the new 1 F2013 engine change his mind?
