Following the incidents at Silverstone and more recently in Austria, F1, with the help of the drivers but also Stefano Domenicali and Mohammed Ben Sulayem, launched an initiative to combat abuse in the sport.

The incidents suffered by certain spectators at Silverstone and especially in Austria caused F1 to react. Through a press release this Saturday, the Formula 1 indicated the launch of the “Drive it out” initiative to combat all types of abuse within sport.

« We are united in our desire to combat abuse of all kinds within the sport we love, and we call on the entire F1 family to join us,” explains F1 in a video. This initiative received the support of the 20 drivers on the grid but also of Formula 1 president Stefano Domenicali as well as FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem.
