If all motorsport-related activity is suspended until June 30 on the other side of the Channel, Motorsport UK, the governing body of British motorsport, and the government are already working on protocols for the reopening of circuits .

A procedure which is carried out in consultation with all stakeholders, including specialized committees for each sporting discipline, and which models the way in which each of the eleven competition categories could potentially restart motorsport.

“I thank the entire motorsport community for supporting the need to suspend our activities, comments Hugh Chambers, boss of Motorsport UK. We know how difficult this has been for many people and organizations.

Our goal is to restart the sport as quickly as possible. We are working with the government and have led the development of a detailed plan that can be used by clubs, officials, circuits and competitors to manage events safely and successfully. »

La F1 could thus go behind closed doors to Silverstone this summer.
