Éric Boullier, Team Principal of McLaren-Honda, raised the prospect of placing Lando Norris as the British team's third driver, replacing Jenson Button. The 17-year-old Carlin driver leads the Championship F3 before the final played this weekend at Hockenheim.
“If Jenson no longer has a position here, we will need a new reservist. Lando could be one of them. If he wins F3, which seems very likely, he will have enough points for the superlicence., explained Éric Boullier in the Suzuka paddock, quoted by Sky Sports.
