The new owner of the F1 believes that the calendar could grow further in the years to come, with the Americas and Asia as the main growth areas. As confirmed by Greg Maffei, general manager of Liberty Media, the North American continent could host new events and Las Vegas, Nevada, would hold the rope.
“I particularly like the idea of a night race in Las Vegas. » confessed Maffei at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecoms conference, currently being held in Barcelona in Catalonia and quoted by Reuters.
The gaming city has already hosted F1 twice in 1981 and 1982 in the parking lot of the Ceasar Palace casino.
