The F-duct, a system which has caused a lot of ink to flow since the start of the season, will not go further than 2010. This "trick" allows a flow of air to pass through the car under the monocoque to emerge at the level of the rear wing was introduced in Formula 1 by McLaren, all the teams today seeking to adapt this system. But, this Sunday, in Barcelona, the member teams of FOTA voted to ban it for 2011. The systems developed by different teams this season will therefore not live beyond this year.
