Before even watching the movie F1, one thing is clear: Grand Prix races would be fun to watch if they were filmed with the same care as the trailers for the feature film directed by Joseph Kosinski. The film, produced by Apple in partnership with F1, revealed a little more in a second 30-second trailer, first broadcast during the Super Bowl pre-match on Sunday night.

This second clip gives pride of place to racing images, with shots filmed on different circuits around the world. We see Spa, Budapest, Abu Dhabi and even Las Vegas in a series of shots that we are not used to seeing on Sundays, during the production of Formula 1 Grand Prix. However, a seasoned eye sometimes notices that the car driven by the APX GP team is not quite an F1, but for the general public, the essentials are there.

To see if the storyline will live up to the special effects, we'll have to wait a few more months. F1 will be available internationally in theaters on June 25 and June 27 in the United States. The film, whose first trailer was released before the British GP last year, tells the story of Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), a former driver who comes out of retirement to return to Formula 1.

The American actor is accompanied by Damson Idris, who plays his teammate, rookie Joshua Pearce. Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon and Tobias Menzies are also in the credits. Thanks to the support of F1 and the teams, the film was able to be shot largely in real conditions, on location and with real actors in the paddock. The support of Formula 1 also allows to have the real single-seaters fighting against the APX GP. See you in a little over four months to see if the result is convincing!
