The delays in the construction of the new Korean circuit should be made up for by the arrival of the F1 from October 22. Climatic reasons are put forward to explain the delays which have become worrying, almost two months before the date of the Grand Prix. “ I have personally visited the site several times and can assure you that every possible effort has been made “, commented Executive Director of Motorsport Asia, David Sonenscher.
Fortunately, the work is progressing well and the organizers of the Korean circuit have already planned to host the Asian Festival of Speed, with the Asian GT. The opening of the circuit was officially announced on September 5.
