This weekend, the FIA is testing the new Parc Fermé in force in Formula 1. Previously, all the cars were brought back, at the end of qualifying, to one and the same place, before being able to return to their stand 5 hours before the start of the race, but always under Parc Fermé regime.

As the number of cars has increased this year, the FIA can no longer require all cars to be in one place. They will thus remain in their stand, under a tarpaulin and under seal, with permanent video surveillance. The cameras will be equipped with presence detectors and will record in high resolution as soon as movement is detected in its field of vision. This should ensure that no one can approach the cars during the night.
