The Alpha Tauri enter as the third force in the field during qualifying for the Mexico City Grand Prix (Mexico) this Saturday, November 6. Yuki tsunoda achieved the third best time in Q2 while Pierre Gasly completed the fifth time.
The awakening of Mercedes is felt with the best time of Lewis Hamilton ahead of his rival in the title race, Max Verstappen. Sergio Pérez goes into a hole with his 7th time.
The Alfa Romeo narrowly missed the mark. Antonio Giovinazzi skidded during the end of his flying lap (14th) and was beaten, once in a while, by the future retiree Kimi Räikkönen (12th). The adventure also ends there for Sebastian Vettel (Aston Martin, 11th) and George Russell (Williams, 13th).
Already assured of starting from the back of the grid due to an engine change, Esteban Ocon (Alpine) only recorded the 15th time.
