Pirelli has revealed the tire choices of the different teams for the Belgian Grand Prix. The ultra-soft tire is favored by drivers but to different extents. In fact, the pilots Red Bull et McLaren will bring 9 sets of purple tires compared to 6 for Mercedes and for 7 Ferrari.
On a circuit where the engine block represents a clear advantage, teams with weaker engines try more aggressive strategies regarding tires. Conversely, Lewis Hamilton opts for 4 sets of soft tires against 3 to Bottas and Ferrari and only 1 for Red Bull and Williams.
