Teams authorized to close their garage this Thursday

This is the first (very big!) decision of Niels Wittich, one of Michael Masi's two successors as race director. Due to the strong gusts of wind blowing on the Sakhir circuit, the race management officially authorized the teams to close their garage this Thursday, March 17 in order to “to avoid possible damage inside the garages”. As a reminder, the closure of garages is normally prohibited by Article 21.1 of the Sporting Regulations of the Formula 1, for obvious reasons of transparency.
