The world champion team presented the figures from its winter tests in Barcelona. The new W08 covered 1096 laps (5,102 km), with 17,500 corners which were negotiated by Valtteri Bottas et Lewis Hamilton.
Both drivers made 49 gear changes. 000 sets of the new Pirelli rubber were used. Concerning hybrid energy, 70 MJ were produced by the MGU-K installed on the W4.
Note that the three teams powered by the German bloc have accumulated 2681 laps (12 km).
