The organizers of the US GP which will be contested in Austin (Texas) on the weekend of October 22 have asked Liberty Media, the new buyers of the F1, to be able to postpone qualifying by 2 hours by postponing them from 14 p.m. to 16 p.m. (23 p.m. in France).
The objective of such a postponement is to encourage the public to stay for the Justin Timberlake concert scheduled on the Circuit of the Americas the same evening. This shift was authorized by the different parties.
