According to the Panel of Stewards, following a report from the technical delegate, the TF109s were equipped with an "extreme flexible" rear wing going against technical regulations.
Timo Glock will therefore start in 19th position and Jarno Trulli in 20th and last position. Sebastian Bourdais inherits 17th place and Lewis Hamilton of the 18th.
