It's a habit I've had since the start of the season, the spaces dedicated to the DRS are extended en Formula 1. Charlie Whiting, the race director of the discipline, announced that the areas concerning the circuits at the end of the year would be modified.
Thus, in Italy (August 31-September 2), the DRS zone on the pit straight will be larger. In Russia (September 28-30), the DRS zone will start before the curve on the start/finish straight. In the United States (October 19-21), the extension of the DRS zone will concern the straight between turns 11 and 12. Finally in Brazil (November 9-11), DRS will be available 100 meters upstream on the line main right. In Abu Dhabi (November 23-25) the zones will be extended on a circuit renowned for its lack of overtaking.
