Outstripped by Valtteri Bottas during the tests, Lewis Hamilton set the record straight during qualifying. On his last flying lap, the driver Mercedes stole pole from his teammate with a time of 1'16"652. Max Verstappen (Red Bull) completes the podium.
Note the beautiful session of Charles Leclerc. Present in Q3, the driver Ferrari signed the 4th fastest time in qualifying ahead of Sergio Pérez (Racing Point) and Alexander albon (Red Bull). THE McLaren de Carlos Sainz et Lando Norris are 7th and 8th respectively.
Pierre Gasly (Alpha Tauri) had a little difficulty in this Q3 and was content with 9th position just ahead Daniel Ricciardo (Renault) who did not take the track.
