Lewis Hamilton (McLaren), guilty of having carried out a “burnout” in the streets of Melbourne on Friday March 26, a few tens of minutes after having achieved the best time in the second free practice session of the Australian Grand Prix, was officially summoned by local justice. The pilot is accused of having had a deliberately dangerous attitude. A hearing has been set for August 24 but, due to the proximity of the Belgian Grand Prix, it appears difficult for the Briton to travel to Australia on that date.
