At the end of a very lively race in Catalonia, Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) won his second success of the season after his victory in China. The British driver takes the checkered flag Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) and Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull), which notably benefited from the abandonment of Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) on a technical problem.
Very good overall result for the Force India with Sergio Pérez and Esteban Ocon 4th and 5th. Nico Hulkenberg (Renault) places his RS17 in sixth place in front of the Sauber of Pascal Wehrlein, who must however take into account a 5″ penalty, and cedes his position to Carlos Sainz (Toro Rosso). Daniil Kvyat (Toro Rosso) and Romain Grosjean (Haas) complete the top 10.
Fernando Alonso (McLaren) sees the finish for the first time this season in 12th position.
Note the abandonments of Max Verstappen (Red Bull) and Kimi Räikkönen (Ferrari) after contact at the first corner. More information to follow.
