After F1 Live from London last year in Great Britain on the sidelines of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, Liberty Media announced its wish to develop this type of event starting this year.

Other destinations are already being studied according to Sean Bratches, director of commercial operations for F1, with a slightly different organization to that seen in England. “The next events of this kind will not be as important, explains the manager to Car engine and sport.

We are planning something similar in Marseille, Berlin, Milan, Shanghai and Miami, but not with as many cars. In Marseille, there will be a Renault, because it is important for Renault. But we believe that this contact with the public outside the track is important, it transmits our message to people we could not otherwise reach.

Formula 1 has been so exclusive over the years that it was only available to those who were interested. The same goes for sponsors. Companies that are not yet in F1 are very interested in it. »
