Maserati will celebrate the centenary of one of its “sons”, the five-time world champion F1, Juan Manuel Fangio, on the occasion of the Goodwood Revival car festival, which will be held in England from September 16 to 18, 2011.
It will also be an opportunity for Maserati to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the first of five titles won by the legendary Argentine driver, born June 24, 1911 in Balcarce. A daily parade will include a variety of the most famous racing cars driven by Fangio.
Two of his world championship titles were won at the wheel of a Maserati, the last of which, in 1957, with a 250F.
